About Us

Hi, I'm Joe Goodchild, director of Goodchild Agri Limited.

Goodchild Agri Limited is based just outside of Whitby, North Yorkshire. As well as producing bespoke steel works I also have a small holding on site with around 35 suckler cows including Simmentals, Blondes, Limousins, British Blue and Herefords.

​

After being Self-Employed since 2009, as a steel fabricator and agricultural engineer, I decided in 2019 to take the next step and become Limited. 

​

Goodchild Agri Limited mainly cover the Yorkshire County, but we are willing to travel further afield if you require one of our bespoke agricultural and/or plant machinery that best suits your requirements. We have previously supplied goods and services across the country from Essex to Dumfries, from Lincolnshire to Wales.

As steel fabricators and agricultural engineers, we are always up for a challenge.

• Manufacture bespoke agricultural and plant machinery

• Equipment and machinery services and sales

• Work to an architects engineered drawings to supply structural steelwork, from industrial steel portal buildings to fire escapes

• Authorised CAME automated gates and security installer
